Introducing the new Orange Pi 2G-IoT
A month ago Raspberry Pi Zero ‘W’ was released by Raspberry Pi Foundation. The new Raspberry Pi Zero W model have an inbuilt WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity which resolves the connectivity issues of old Raspberry Pi. But the problem was there was no cellular connectivity. If you wanted to use a SIM card, you will have to use an external GPS module.
There comes the rival -The Orange Pi 2G-IoT.
Orange Pi has come out with its own counter to the Raspberry Pi Zero W. The Orange Pi 2G-IoT have an 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 at the same time it provides a 2G Mobile Radio for cellular connectivity. The 2G radio supports GSM/GPRS data connections, and there is a SIM card slot on the underside of the board.
