Raspberry Pi 3 uses a 1.2 GHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor, the VideoCore IV 3D GPU and 1 GB of RAM. It is faster and more powerful than its predecessors. Specifically, it provides users with over ten times the performance of the Raspberry Pi 1.
Asus Tinker Board is computer similar to that of pi and offers some neat upgrades compared to Raspberry Pi 3.

So Which One is Better?
From my experience, the answer for that question depends on what you intend to do with it. If you are playing with command line interface, simple algorithms and lower CPU utilization, go for raspberry pi. Because raspberry pi is cheaper and consumes very less power.
If you need better performance and 4K video support, you should definitely go for Tinker Board. Even though it consumes more power and costlier, it will give you satisfactory result.
